Our Practice

Grounded in care, guided by principle

Khrueua was founded on the belief that people in difficult personal situations deserve legal support that is calm, considered, and genuinely on their side.

Our Story

How Khrueua came to be

Khrueua — a word that calls to mind connection, family, and the ties that bind — was established in Bangkok with a specific purpose in mind: to offer individuals facing personal and family legal matters a space where they could speak openly, without feeling hurried or judged.

The practice grew from a recognition that many people find the legal system intimidating, particularly when the matters at hand touch on deeply personal areas of life. Our founders wanted to change that experience — to create something quieter, more human, and more attuned to the emotional weight that these situations carry.

Since opening our office in Huai Khwang, we have worked with families and individuals across a wide range of circumstances. The common thread in every matter we handle is respect — for the people involved, for the process, and for the outcomes that will shape lives going forward.

Our Mission

What we stand for

Our mission is straightforward: to provide family legal support in Thailand that puts the person before the procedure. We measure success not only by legal outcomes but by whether those we serve felt informed, respected, and at ease throughout the process.

Patience as a value

We do not rush. Good legal work in sensitive matters takes time, and we are prepared to give it.

Confidentiality as a foundation

Every client relationship is built on strict discretion. What you share with us does not go further.

Honesty as a practice

We explain things as they are, not as we wish they were. You will always know where you stand.

Our small, experienced team works closely together so that the person handling your matter has full context and continuity throughout.

How We Work

Our standards and commitments

Every matter we handle follows a consistent set of principles — not as formality, but because they reflect how we believe this work should be done.

Strict confidentiality

All client information is held securely and shared with no third party without your explicit agreement. This commitment is absolute.

Thai Bar Council registration

Our lawyers are registered with the Lawyers Council of Thailand and operate within the professional conduct standards required by Thai law.

Transparent fee structure

We discuss fees clearly before any work begins. There are no hidden charges, and we will always seek your agreement before extending the scope of work.

Regular, clear communication

You will always know the current position of your matter. We keep clients informed through every stage in language that is easy to follow.

Continuity of care

Your matter is handled by the same team member throughout, so you are never required to repeat your situation to someone unfamiliar with your case.

Ongoing legal knowledge

Family law in Thailand continues to develop. Our team follows changes in legislation and court practice to ensure our advice reflects the current position.

Our Approach

Family legal work in Thailand calls for a particular kind of care

Thai family law covers a broad range of personal matters — from formal agreements between partners to questions of parental responsibility, property arrangements, and the documentation that governs how families are structured or reorganised. These are not abstract legal problems. They are situations in which people's daily lives, relationships, and futures are directly at stake.

Khrueua approaches each matter with this in mind. We are a small practice by design, not by limitation. Working closely with a limited number of clients at any one time means that each person receives proper attention — not a form letter, not a junior file handler, but a consistent, knowledgeable professional who understands the full picture of their situation.

Our office in Huai Khwang is a considered environment — quiet, private, and arranged to support calm conversation. Whether a client comes to us at the very beginning of a difficult situation or partway through one, we aim to provide a steady, grounded presence and clear thinking when it is most needed.

We work in English and Thai, and we are experienced in advising clients with connections to multiple countries — including those where cross-border family law questions may arise. In every case, we work carefully, communicate honestly, and remain focused on what the person in front of us actually needs.

A quiet word is a good place to start

If you have a family matter you would like to discuss — however tentatively — we are here to listen. There is no obligation and no pressure at any stage.
